TEST TOMORROW

* Science test on the Diversity of Life is tomorrow!!!
* Math Fractions Poster is due Wed., Oct. 30th
* The students have been assigned a MAJOR independent novel study project. These are the due dates for the various assignments. This is not a project that they can finish overnight, this is one that they will need to work on everyday for the next 4 weeks!

     - Read every night for at least 1/2 hour
     - Wed., Oct. 30th    1st Journal Response Due
     - Tues., Nov. 5th     2nd Journal Response Due
     - Fri., Nov. 8th        3rd Journal Response Due & the book should be          finished!!!!
     - Wed., Nov. 13th    Vocab Due
     - Fri., Nov. 15th       Story Element - Character Due
     - Wed., Nov. 20th    Story Element - Plot
     - Fri., Nov. 22nd     Story Element - Setting & Reader Reflection Due

A minimum of 45 minutes of class everyday will be made available to work on the project but as you can see there is a lot of work to do so your child will most likely have homework!!!

* French Halloween Accordion Book is due Thursday, Oct. 31st
* Our first Young Peoples Concert (YPC) is this Thursday, too
* Halloween dance is this Thursday, wear a costume and being a food donation to get in for free; there will be a concession at the dance as well
* Ice cream sale this Wednesday
* Tomorrow is our Petro-Can/Subway day so remember your note
