Quick Classroom Update:
Congratulations to Leif and Nick for
earning Bronze Medals at the Mainline Regional Science Fair!
For the next 2 ½ weeks, we are very
fortunate to have Charlotte Thompson joining our classroom. This is my first
time doing this and I am very excited to take this journey with the students.
In order to make this experience successful we will need parent volunteers for
certain dates. Once the dates are solidified I will send out another email.
There is a cost associated with Charlotte Thompson therefore we will be having
a bake sale in the near future.
Today, we will had our spelling as usual
therefore the spelling post-test will happen on Friday. Spelling words can
always be found at http://www.spellingcity.com/chelcyross/. Remember on short weeks we do not do
spelling. Also, today we participated in our First Nations rotations; the three
stations were a Pictograph Cave, Salmon Dance with Mr. Camille, and an
informational video on The Great White Spirit Bear.
Tomorrow is YPC and Ice Cream is being sold for $2.00
P.E happens on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and
Thursdays. It is expected that students will have proper gym strip and
footwear. We will start track rotations soon and the dates are April 22, 25,29 and May 2,6 & 9.
Students will need gym strip on these days, too.
Upcoming Dates:
Inservice Day Monday,
April 18
Class Photos Tuesday, April 19
Dallas Parloff Wednesday, April 20
Hot Lunch Friday,
